New Vice-Principal for 2017-2018 school year

We would like to congratulate Erika Pottage on being appointed Vice-Principal for the 2017-2018 school year.
Erika has a Baccalaureat en Education Elementaire from Faculte Saint-Jean, University of Alberta. She is continuing her learning journey by obtaining a Masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Alberta in 2018. Erika is known for her strong instructional and assessment practices and knowledge of developing comprehensive physical education programs.
Erika has been a teacher with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools since 2006 with experience as a high school teacher and Physical Education Department Head at École Notre Dame Secondaire High School. She moved into a Vice-Principal role at St. Elizabeth Seton School in 2015.
She attends St. Mary's Catholic Church. She continues to grow as in her faith leadership through coursework at Newman Theological College and working in the Division's faith mentorship program.
Erika has been a leader in the areas of outcomes based assessment both at the high school level and within the elementary report card team. Erika has been supporting St. Elizabeth Seton School as Tech Coach and is the Division lead for Grow Boys, a collaborative partnership with the City of Red Deer and Red Deer Public Schools.
