ECJL Read-a-Thon

It is once again time to launch our school fundraising campaign, the ECJL Read-a-Thon! This fundraiser is the only school wide fundraiser that our school does each year to cover the costs of many different activities that benefit our school community. With increasing costs of bussing and field trips, this fundraiser is essential to ensure the kids continue to have these opportunities. Field trips cost our school over $17,000 alone in 2024-2025. This year our Read-a-Thon will take place from September 19th - October 14th.

Below are the different events and initiatives that our Read-a-Thon has supported over the past 3 years: Carnaval, Field Trips, Plays & Musicals, Sports Equipment, School BBQs, Family Dance, Library Books, Shrove Tuesday, Faith Presentations, Staff Appreciation, Social Justice Projects, French Cultural Activities, Recess Equipment, Coach Appreciation.

Each student received an envelope that is printed with the donation tracking sheet. Have the donor scan the QR code on the envelope to fill out their information to receive their tax receipt. All donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt that can save you on your tax return, so we encourage you to donate generously if you are able. Please return the envelope by Tuesday October 14th - right after Thanksgiving! We are so thankful for your encouragement and support and look forward to a very successful fundraising campaign to continue to enhance our school and our student’s participation in extracurricular activities!
